    • This information tracking, can obtain the total amount a page has been viewed within Sitesearch including User Profile pages.

  • Member Directory: In order to establish relationships with other Sitesearch users you will have the ability to search users via e-mail. In effect, your e-mail address will then be searchable by others, unless you choose to opt-out of this feature by visiting the Privacy Settings section under User Profile. The e-mail address provided during registration will be the e-mail others can search you by.

  • Social sharing of data: Sitesearch grants users the ability to browse stories that have been posted on our site. This is made available to you by your User Profile, or within the URL of a story you have accessed. Sitesearch may at any point in time choose to place this data on another feature within the site.

  • Friends' Activity: Sitesearch is an online social network and will allow non-friends to review your friends' activity on the site.

  • API: Sitesearch will maintain the privacy of it's' users password and blog settings however, Sitesearch will grant access to third parties in order to access all Sitesearch data that is publicly available through Sitesearch.

  • Syndication: Sitesearch allows RSS syndication in regards to all of the site's public content.

  • With Your Consent: Sitesearch will in no way share your information with others, except for the above mentioned actions and in the event your personal information is shared with third parties or used for a purpose other than what it was originally intended, you will be able to opt-out in order to prevent the sharing of this information.

Keeping Information Secure

  • Although your Sitesearch account is protected by a password for security and privacy purposes make sure you protect your account from unauthorized users by logging off once your session is completed when using a shared computer.

  • In order to ensure the privacy of our users, Sitesearch only grants employees access to our users personal information for specific job functions, such as in the case of customer service.   • As a user you have the ability to change, update, amend, edit and alter your personal information through your User Profile at any time. Sitesearch will keep the integrity of your privacy but will also keep a copy of the original content on our files.

  • If you should choose to leave us you may request a deletion of your Sitesearch account by e-mailing us at webmaster@sitesearch.com.

  • If you prefer to not receive any e-mail from Sitesearch or our users, you can contact us at webmaster@sitesearch.com.

  • If you choose the above-mentioned option, you will still receive e-mails concerning the system such as forgotten user passwords and legal notices.

  • You may also choose to not have people search for you via the Member Directory service, if this is the case please notify us at webmaster@sitesearch.com.

  • Sitesearch realizes that not all of our users choose to accept new cookies and that your toolbar will allow you, the user to choose your preference. Should you choose to not accept cookies you may not be able to access all of the great features Sitesearch provides.

Children Under 18 Years of Age

In order to register within Sitesearch you must be 13 years of age. Any individual that attempts to sign up that is under the age mark of 13 will be immediately deleted from our system. Due to this, Sitesearch does not retain any information about minors. We also highly recommend that any minor between the ages of 13 and 18 ask for their parents' or guardians' permission before accessing an account within our site or any other site within the Internet community.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Sitesearch obtains the right to amend the Privacy Policy at any point in time. Any use of the information obtained is subject to our Privacy Policy at the discretion of the time it is used.
